Our World 2023-24 is live!
SEET are delighted to launch Our World 2023-24!
Totally free to enter, Our World is a language learning and global citizenship project offered to all secondary schools in Scotland.
A great opportunity for interdisciplinary learning in the classroom, Our World encourages pupils to work together, research topical issues, and create short multilingual films based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals with the help of professional filmmakers!
This year, we are dividing the project into an S1-3 category ('Our World Juniors'), and an S4-6 category ('Our World Senior Phase').
In order to support teachers through the Our World process, SEET are offering Our World teachers 2 CLPL sessions to support them in running Our World with their pupils: one which provides an overview of the project (Tuesday 12th September, 4pm), and one which provides more practical advice about implementing Our World in the classroom. Please contact alex@seet.org.uk if you would like to join the CLPL session!
For Our World pupils, SEET are providing online school visits for all participating schools to support pupils in creating their storyboards and developing their film ideas.
